Khayng Update
The language is really coming along. I think I'd like there not to be a "to be" verb (so hopefully, there will be no equivalent of "be, is, are, am, was, were"). I think it's possible. At least I've heard of languages that don't have a be-verb. Instead of "The shirt is red", the adjective would actually be a verb, so it would be more like "The shirt reds". Of course I'll still have a verb meaning "exist".

Elisa? Elisa Cooper? Say hello for me, and that I just listened to the recording of her performance of Maurice Ravel's Ondine the other day.
Well, I had actually thought of that one, too. I did mention that there would still be a word for "exist", which is what AM means in this case anyway. So the Khayng translation of the Bible would use that "exist" word. The absolutely, eternally, and invincibly existent One.
Laura B. - my dad has been studying Mouri, the language of the native New Zealanders, and they have no being verb. So if you ever want to simply get out of the being loop for a while, head south for a bit. :)
