Advice for people who's friends have blogs or websites

Advice:
In your web browser, make a new bookmarks folder called "Friends", then whenever one of your friends says "I have this website" or "I have this blog/xanga", or "I have this picture page", then just put the link in that folder.
Then it's easy to check for updates. Right now, I have 10 freinds' sites bookmarked in my Friends folder: Adam Morehouse, Dave Jones, Laura Schmidt, Aeijtzsche, Jay Henderson, Nate Henderson, a former dormmate group blog, 2 Japanese friends' blogs, and my dad's online family tree.

Also, be sure to switch to Firefox, which is 1.5 times better than Internet Explorer. try www.firefox.com
(it will import all your bookmarks and settings from internet explorer, so you can pick up where you left off).

K, so I don't mean to keep posting for basically every post you have here, Steve - but I have to attest that the friends folder does really work as I've had my own slew of friend sites in a folder for quite some time now. I also had to compliment you on cataloguing your bookmarks, like any good librarian would recommend you do. ;-) Very nicely done.
